Having completed many years of training, and over 40 years experience in the jewelry and insurance industry, Alan continues to be one of the nation’s leading diamond experts. As a member of the American Gem Society, Alan completes annual exams in order to continue to be well informed of all current trends and technological advances.

Matthew J. Fisher

Matthew graduated from University of Delaware in 2009 with a degree in Finance. He is currently studying at the Gemological Institute of America to become a gemologist.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Bought a ring from here they didn’t have the size so they ordered it. Picked up and paid. Fast forward i needed to return the ring. I called they agreed i could come in to return. Before i could get there my uncle passed away ( this was within 1.5 week of me calling ). They tell me today i can no longer return. First they tell me it was not under my card ( it was ) then they tell me it was special ordered and they already have that size in store ( weird because you didn’t when i came in for it ) then they tell me well it’s past the 15 days. So which one is it?

** they did offer me store credit, so I’ll give them that but after that i will never shop there again.

A little compassion goes a long way, i understand it’s a company they need to make money. But it was well within the 30 days to return ( which the woman told me from the first time i called ).

Crazy because i recommended 2 people there to they call them back to tell them NOT to go there. What a disappointment.

We always strive to be transparent, and we would like to clarify the exact timeline and details of this transaction.When you called a couple of days after picking up the custom-ordered ring, we immediately agreed to process your return. You mentioned you were on your way in, but you did not arrive, and we received no further communication or updates for over two weeks.Because this ring was a specific size specially ordered from our vendor, returning it after a two-week delay subjects our business to strict vendor restocking fees. When you returned unannounced two weeks later, we explained that while a full refund was no longer possible due to the elapsed time, we still wanted to help. To accommodate you, we offered to absorb those vendor costs and issue you full store credit instead. You declined this offer and chose to leave the store with the ring.We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle. However, given the lack of communication over those two weeks and the vendor constraints on special orders, we feel that offering full store credit was a highly fair and flexible solution. Should you change your mind, our offer to accept the ring back for full store credit stands.

Alan Fisher is one of the most professional businesspersons I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He replaced my wedding set that I unfortunately lost in August. His communications are prompt, his delivery, exact. He helped me choose my new rings, as I was somewhat overwhelmed with so many choices at stores and on the internet. He was very patient and guided me to several options before coming to my house where I picked my my diamond and the settings. I love, love my new rings! Thank you Alan Fisher!

After losing my diamond out of my engagement ring, our insurance company recommended A.H. Fisher in Red Bank, NJ. The owner Alan went above and beyond for us by staying open an hour late to accommodate us. He was really helpful picking out the perfect stone and band. He had it ready on the day he said he would, and even delivered it to our home on a Friday night! He is a really nice guy, and I would recommend him to my family and friends! Alan and ClaimLink made this SUCH an easy process. Not only did I get my replacement - that was stunning. I cannot say enough good things about Alan Fisher and Claimlink. I met Alan through an unfortunate experience with another jeweler who damaged the center stone of my engagement ring. She refused to do anything about it and I was told that it would be very hard to prove in court. Needless to say I was devastated. My insurance company recommended Alan Fisher/Claimlink. However, I did go to several other jewelers so that I could compare, including a reputable establishment on 47th Street, NYC (the diamond district). No one's diamonds compared to what Alan showed me. He really listened to me and had exactly what I was looking for when I went for my appointment. My center stone is now better than the original! I picked up my ring today and it is absolutely gorgeous. It looks brand new and the center stone is spectacular! Thank you so much Alan, you are now my only jeweler and I will recommend you to everyone I know!!!!!
